Welcome to my Digital Portfolio
I have been teaching Language Arts at Jefferson Middle School for eleven years. I am a San Diego Native, raised in North San Diego County, then relocated to the North Park area in 1991. My favorite thing about living here is that there is so many great outdoor places for everyone to hang out. When I'm not teaching, you will find me out at any one of our great parks or beaches, or even barbequing in the back yard.
I didn't start out to become a school teacher, but somehow during my journey I discovered that is where I belonged. Teaching for me is my second love right behind my family. The daily interactions and experiences with students constantly challenge me to keep ideas fresh and new.
